Mobile App Development
Mobile apps your users keep on the home screen
Native and cross-platform apps for iOS and Android, built to feel fast, handle poor connections, and reach the stores without surprises.
The Problem
What usually
goes wrong
Building everything twice
Two separate native codebases means double the cost and features that drift apart. Cross-platform gets you both stores from one codebase wherever the app allows it.
Apps that feel slow
Janky scrolling and a slow cold start get apps deleted within a week. We profile on real devices and treat performance as a budget, not a hope.
Store rejections
App Store and Play Store reviews fail over privacy disclosures, permissions, and guideline details. We handle submission and manage the review cycle until you are live.
No backend to support it
An app is only as good as the API behind it. We build the backend, authentication, and push infrastructure alongside the app rather than leaving you to source them.
What We Do
What's
included
Cross-Platform Development
One React Native or Flutter codebase shipping to both the App Store and Play Store, with native modules written where the platform genuinely demands them.
Native iOS & Android
Swift and Kotlin builds for apps that lean hard on device hardware, background processing, or platform-specific interface conventions.
App Backends & APIs
Authentication, real-time sync, offline handling, push notifications, and the server infrastructure your app depends on.
Store Launch & Support
Store listings, screenshots, privacy disclosures, release management, and post-launch crash monitoring and updates.
Process
How we
deliver
Discovery & Platform Strategy
We decide native versus cross-platform based on your actual features and budget, then map screens and the data model.
UX & Prototype
Clickable prototypes tested on a phone in your hand, not reviewed as a desktop mockup.
Build & Integrate
App and backend developed together, with TestFlight and internal-track builds you can install throughout the project.
Test, Ship & Iterate
Testing across real devices, store submission, and a post-launch window for crash triage and the first round of user feedback.

We pick tools that are stable, well supported, and easy to hire for — so your project is never dependent on one person's favourite framework.

Why Zylience
How we
work
One team, start to finish
The people who scope your project are the ones who build it. Design, engineering, and launch happen under one roof — no subcontracting, no handoff to a team you never met.
You own everything
Source code, infrastructure, and accounts are in your name, with documentation at handover. Nothing about how we work locks you into staying with us.
AI-native by default
We build automation into what we deliver wherever it removes real work from your team — not because it belongs on a brochure.
Built for the version after this one
We architect for where the product is going, not just what ships this quarter, and we stay available after launch to keep it moving.
Engagement
Two ways to
work with us
Pricing follows scope, so we quote after discovery — not from a rate card that would be wrong for your project.
Model 01
Project-Based
Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timeline.
Best when you know what needs building and want cost certainty. Covers discovery, design, development, testing, launch, and a post-launch support window.
- Quoted after discovery
- Milestone-based delivery
- Support window included
Model 02
Dedicated Team
A monthly retainer for continuous work on your product.
Best for evolving scope and long-term product development. You get a consistent team that knows your codebase, and you scale up or down with a month's notice.
- Monthly rolling
- Scale up or down
- Direct access to the team
Mobile Apps FAQ
Questions,
answered
01Should I build native or cross-platform?
If your app is mostly screens, forms, and API calls, cross-platform ships faster and costs less. If it depends on heavy graphics, background hardware access, or deeply platform-specific interactions, native is worth the extra cost. We recommend after discovery rather than before.
02How long does an app take to build?
A focused first version usually takes 10–16 weeks including the backend. Apps with payments, real-time features, or heavy third-party integrations take longer.
03Do you publish the app for us?
Yes. We handle store setup, listings, privacy disclosures, and submission, and manage the review process until you are live. The developer accounts stay in your name.
04What happens after launch?
Apps need ongoing maintenance for OS updates, store policy changes, and crash fixes. We offer maintenance retainers, or hand over full documentation if you have an in-house team taking it on.
05Can you take over an app someone else built?
Yes. We start with a code and architecture audit, then give you an honest recommendation on whether continuing the existing codebase or rebuilding will cost less over the next year.
06Do you build the backend as well?
Yes. Most apps need authentication, a database, and push notifications, and we build those as part of the project so there is one team accountable for the whole thing.
